NE Times Letter to the Editor in Support of Martina White

Candidate is impressive
On March 24 there is a special election to fill the state representative seat vacated by now Congressman Brendan Boyle.
Brendan and I both attend St. Christopher’s parish and I went to college with his brother Kevin. They are a hard-working family and I respect that a great deal.
Recently, the woman who wants to fill his seat, Martina White, came to our home. She was walking through our neighborhood introducing herself. She was undaunted by the ice, snow and freezing temperatures.
It says a lot about the work ethic of someone who is willing to come out in this weather to ask you face to face for your vote. If that’s the kind of effort she will put forward in Harrisburg, I’m confident we will have good representation.
Martina, thank you for taking the time to meet my wife and children and good luck.
Matthew York
Somerton
